Who We Are

 Travis Stein has dedicated 32 years to the aviation industry, showcasing expertise in consulting and regulatory compliance. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Aviation Flight Management and Aviation Administration from Lewis University, Romeoville, IL. With a deep passion for aviation that permeates every aspect of his life, Travis describes his enthusiasm as an affliction—one that would need more than a 12-step program to overcome. His extensive experience and unwavering commitment make him a trusted figure in aviation. 

 Mike Katzmann With 35 years in aviation, Mike Katzmann, Director of Quality Control since May 2019, brings expertise in certified aircraft electronics, quality control, and compliance. From mechanic to roles at Piedmont, US Air, and Paradise Island Airlines, Mike’s passion for aviation was inspired by his family's legacy. Educated at Tidewater Community College and Rice Aviation School, he enjoys fishing, boating, family, and restoring Warbirds. Born in Naples, Italy, and raised in Virginia, Mike is married to Dawn, with three children and six grandchildren. 

Michelle Oakley, Director of Sales at TMX Aero, LLC, propels the company forward with her extensive background in youth development, event planning, finance, and property management. Armed with a BS in Business Management and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Michelle is also an advocate for community development and engagement. Her career has taken flight with significant roles at Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County and most recently on the board of Lindsay School of the Arts.

 With a passion for flying, Paul Harris has been in aviation since 1996. Skilled in general repairs, compliance, and on-the-job training (OJT), Paul earned his A&P license through OJT and attended CU and CSU. He has worked with Huizinga Aviation and Reliance Aviation. Born in California and raised in Colorado, Paul's hobbies include fishing, golf, boating, and spending time with his family. He has been married to MJ for 32 years and has three children and two grandchildren. 

 Jack Flinn has been immersed in aviation since 1975, bringing a wealth of knowledge in all things aviation and training others. Educated at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Jack is a Florida native with a passion for Ford Mustangs and cars in general. He has worked for Gulfstream, Sunstream Jet, and Florida Aviation. Jack's love for aviation started when his dad took him to an airshow at the age of 7, where he saw the legendary Bob Hoover. Jack is also a proud father of two adult daughters. 

 Seth "Mac" Williams Licensed Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic and Certified Hydrostatic Technician, Seth Williams, joined TMX Aero in January 2024. A graduate of Liberty University's Aviation Maintenance Technician Program, Seth excels in maintaining a variety of aircraft models, including Cessna Citation, Cirrus vision jets, and Piper, Mooney, and Beechcraft models. His experience spans roles at Missionary Flights International, where he provided logistical support to over 800 mission organizations, and Compressed Gas Systems as a Hydrostatic Technician. Seth's passion for aviation drives him to continually enhance his skills and contribute to the industry. 

 Erin Holden, an A&P Apprentice with us since October 2023, has one year of aviation experience. Educated at Lincoln Park Academy and born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida, Erin possesses skills in tenacity, determination, and a love of learning. Erin’s passion for aviation comes from her father, a pilot, who instilled a deep appreciation for all things aviation. Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her two children, partner Ron, reading, and building Legos. 

Austin Kelley, an A&P Apprentice with us since May 2023, brings five years of aviation experience. Currently in our A&P apprentice program, he is skilled in avionics, troubleshooting, general repair, and solution finding. Austin holds an AA in Applied Science from Kennesaw State University and the Aviation Institute of Maintenance, and he is a Certified Aviation Electronics Technician. Passionate about aviation because "it flies," he is currently working on his private pilot's license. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, woodworking, and family time. Married to Erica for three years, they have one son and are expecting another child soon.
